It appears to be some form of goods & services tax. SO far a haven �t found a clear definition - you might be better off asking an accountant!

Well, since CENVAT in India stands for Central Value Added Tax and the word �vatable � refers to goods on which VAT must be paid, I �d hazard a guess that �cenvatable � means goods which are subject to CENVAT in India.
