							| talking about N.Y Resolutions, what do you think it �s better to say  �I will...  � or  �I �m going to... �I �ve always seen I will... and it �s true that �will � is used for promises, offers, inside evidence... but we also explain   �going to � for plans or decisions. 							| If you really mean it as a promise, "I will" works. It �s more formal, though. Most people would say either "I �m going to" or "I plan/intend to".   Bruce |  9 Jan 2013
