							| Both terms are fine. Which you use depends on which point of the term you check the reading. I usually use "assessment" at the beginning of the semester when I don �t know much about the students � abilities and "evaluation" at the end when I want to see how far they �ve come. |  18 Jan 2013

							| Moody is right and I use those two words in pretty much the same context. I think that in education circles, many people are starting to use the term "assessment" a little more.
