							| I have a question
 |
							| Lately, I read in a passage the phrase " seasoned journalists" .  After a while , I knew that it means experienced journalists . I want your explanations if they are  different from the conclusion I reached. I also need to know if I can use the word " seasoned " meaning " experienced" with other professions like teachers for example.
 Thank you

							| There is also the more general expression "seasoned professional", and it could be used with specific professions, but it isn t common. It wouldn t sound strange, though.   Bruce | 21 Jan 2013

							| You can use this tool to help you   The Google Ngram Viewer is a phrase-usage graphing tool which charts the yearly count of selected n-grams (letter combinations),[n] words, or phrases,[1][2] as found in over 5.2 million books digitized by Google Inc (up to 2008).   Personally, I dont use this expression nor find it commonly used   Cheers   Jayho | 22 Jan 2013
