							| Never forget that there are people who speak their own language badly/wrongly/incorrectly. Being a native (in real life or in a film) does not implicitly mean that you know the lg and use it appropriately; it just means you can communicate according to social status, educational levels, lg levels/accents/dialects/etc. And films do tend to show differences amongst lg users. |  22 Jan 2009

							| To say a speaker speaks badly/wrongly/incorrectly is a prescriptive approach. When you use descriptive approaches there is no such thing as badly/wrongly/incorrectly. These are subjective judgements, based on the prescriptive rules applied. |  22 Jan 2009
