							| overrated or overvalued?
 |
							| Hello!
Which should I use with people?. I want to say that "being famous is overrated/ overvalued". Which one is correct?
Is "overvalued" more related to money?

 Thanks in advance

							| I would definitely say "overrated". The meanings depend on the source of the comment. A famous person might say that it is overrated. An envious person, or someone who is commenting on society, would more likely to say that its overvalued. So, "overrated" is more an internal observation (by the famous person), while "overvalued" is an obersvation of how people react. Bruce | 3 Mar 2013
