Could you help me with these verbs ?

I think it is now clear that this question is nonsense.

If a bunch of English teachers can �t figure out or agree on the answers, the original should be rewritten. Questions should be unambiguous, especially on exams.

I �ve looked at it for some time and the only explanation I can see is that it was written by a non native speaker who had a certain grammatical structure in mind. Btw, the second sentence doesn �t make sense unless you extra words such as �it � or �this �.

Ah, Philip, we don �t disagree with you, but the person asking the question doesn �t always have the power to rewrite the sentence.
