							| Cows suffered in the days of oldFor want of water and from cold,
Now of good water they have fill
For it is pumped by the windmill.

No matter how well cows were fed
They suffered cold in their board shed,
But good stone walls now them enfold,
And they are warm and safe from cold.

Now they do enjoy their fodder,
And repay with their full udder,
If bran slops you on cow bestow
Of milk it will increase the flow.

And in your efforts do not halt
But let them daily lick the salt,
And never let the dogs them chase,
But let them walk at their quiet pace.

							| Cry for me, lonely wolf, your wisdom we need. Show us your kindness, I ask and I plead. Your intense amber eyes, search out our
hearts, You watch as we tear, the world all apart | 8 Apr 2013

							| Wind-Wolves by William D. Sargent

Do you hear the cry as the pack goes by,
The wind-wolves hunting across the sky?
Hear them tongue it, keen and clear,
Hot on the flanks of flying deer!

Across the forest, mere and plain,
Their hunting howl goes up again!
All night they ll follow the ghostly trail,
All night we ll hear their phantom wail,

For tonight the wind-wolf pack holds sway
From Pegasus Square to teh Milky Way,
And the frightened bands of cloud-deer flee,
In scattered groups of two and three.
