							| To your statement that "haven�t got "  is the negative of the verb GET, in the present perfect" a famous grammarian, Michael Swan says: 
 "Note that �have got� means exactly the same as �have� in this case - it is a present tense of �have�, not the present perfect of �get�..."

 Also, the course books that i teach from (Longman) use �have got� to describe people�s appearances. As i pointed out in have to / must poster, languages are alive and grammars just dissect them and try to put into categories, which is an impossible task.
 
 The whole point is to get the message across. Not go nitpicking. That�s all.
