can �t think of anything specifically about volunteering but the movie "pay it forward" is great to introduce the topic of doing something for others.

I think it can be great for that age group.
My daughter saw it at school and she is 14 as well...and she loooved it.
(it is a bit of a tear jerker but I loved it as well..)
