							| which or what
 |
							| Good afternoon,
I am not sure whether I have to say what pet has she got or which pet has she got?

 I would appreciate your help.

 Thanks

							| I d say what pet has she got because there is a great number of choices. We prefer which when we choose between few things.
For example, what film did you watch yesterday? there are way too many possibilities for an answer, an indefinite number of films to choose from.
Which movie would you like to watch tonight? - there might be two or three movies to choose from and both the person who asks the questions and the person she/he addresses knows it.

 Hope it helps!

							| That means if I have a chart with names and pets like in the example below I would ask: WHICH pet has SUE got?  because there is no choice, am I right?? Thanks
