							| greglovescoco is right - unless it s Mrs Williams, not Mrs William. In which case it should be Mrs Williams s students writing.  (Not writings, by the way.)
 Edit:pieces of writing/essays/compositions. | 18 May 2013

							| greglovescoco is right.  you can t say Mrs Williams s students writing as cunliffe says Because I think that you can t add ( s) to a name ends with s So it should be without ( s)so add only

Mrs William s students writings   Means: The writings belonging to the students of Mrs William  | 18 May 2013

							| I agree with Cunliffe.  The correct form is "Mrs. Williams students writing (assignments)." | 18 May 2013

							| @Layan, I m on about if she s called Mrs Williams, not Mrs William. Williams is a common surname, whereas William isn t; it s a first name. If she s called Mrs Williams, then not only can you add s, but you should.

							| The name is Williams... Writings refer to composition pieces ... not handwriting or penmanship.

							| I would say "Mrs Williams students essays". (native English speaker)
(However, if the singular noun ends in s [...] you can either just add an apostrophe ( ) or apostrophe s ( s)) | 21 May 2013
