							| Hi, there! I can not find the explanation for the word WHITE in the following sentence
 "The fields were white for harvest." I can only try to guess the meaning.
 No dictionary gives me translation for such situation.
 Can anybody help?

							| Hi again! I found out that a while harvest is a late harvest, when the ground is
        white of a morning with hoarfrost. The harvest of 1891 was a white
        harvest. There is more here. I was thinking more metaphorically before :-P
