							| Can anyone with a teaching degree couch students to take a TOEFL exam? Do you need any  special training for this? | 25 May 2013

							| Nobody I know has any special training.  You just need a good command of advanced English and you should familiarize yourself thoroughly with the exam. | 25 May 2013

							| One has to be a psychiatrist to couch people:) (I hope you ll understand I am just kidding around)
I agree with Esther you have to have a sound knowledge of English and be familiar with the exam. Also you need the most recent manuals for TOEFL. It would be very beneficial if the coach had the experience of taking the exam himself/herself but it s not the crucial factor IMHO. Sophia | 25 May 2013
