							| Just read your post and would advise something that works wonders.: each kid has as many papers as the number of kids in the class. And the teacher has an equal number too.
read the tale (if you don t know it yet) of warm fuzzies by Claude Steiner and get each kid to write a warm fuzzy for each one of the other kids in the class and for you too!
I used to do that at the end of term or year and many years after, kids would say they still had the little papers preciously kept in some special place.
the sort of thing they could write:
I like you because you have beautiful eyes..( Physical characteristic)
I like you because you are the most generous, friendly, happy .. person in the world.
I like you beacause once I was sad and you comforted me..
 Etc....
It doesn t cost anything and it is a marvellous present.
Here is the link to the tale:

							| Did it, fell in love with it, my students too,a great present! Did that with my 8th graders ( I was their form teacher )to say goodbye after leaving primary school. I decorated for each one of them a wooden box - treasure chests to keep these beautiful words in. Hugs Anamaria
