							| i have pre-intermediate students. One day my students brought me a question. it is below
MRS.ROSE:I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLEVER STUDENT BEFORE LIKE THOMAS SCHOOL MANAGER:................................
 a)me ,too                    b)me ,neither                  c)such                         d)so
I CHOOSE B AS THE CORRECT ANSWER COZ OF NEGATIVE WORD NEVER (AND I AM SURE ABOUT MY ANSWER) BUT THE OTHER TEACHER SAID AS A IS THE CORRECT ANSWER.

							| Hope your colleague is reasonable in accepting defeat, as you are right. The correct answer is B. | 28 May 2013

							| I agree with you, the right answer is" B" because as you say "never" is a negaitve word. | 28 May 2013

							| I m like Bruce, I often say "me either" in a case like this.  I suspect "neither" is a better answer, but to me they are the same in this case. | 28 May 2013

							| MRS.ROSE:I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLEVER STUDENT BEFORE LIKE THOMAS SCHOOL MANAGER:................................
a)me ,too                    b)me ,neither                  c)such                         d)so   More natural English would be:   I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A CLEVER STUDENT AS THOMAS BEFORE
SCHOOL MANAGER:.......NEITHER HAVE I..../NOR HAVE I     The word order for Mrs Rose sounds odd to me, and although me neither is often heard, it is colloquial in my view.   Others may disagree. | 28 May 2013
