Hello, I have a class of six ESL students. They are 6 and 7 years old. We have studied the English alphabet and we are currently studying short vowel sounds. Four of the students can read simple words and sentences. Two students joined our class late and they are both struggling to catch up. I see these students for just 1 1/2 hours per day and I �m using textbooks that have to be completed within a set time. So I am writing to ask for ideas about how I could help these two students to �catch up � to the others.
