Frere, LOL, those very things are part of our living language - they are part of the originality and without them our language would not be what it is. my bugbear is people (especially teachers) not using capital letters where they should, if you know what i mean Cheers Jayho |

definitely "shopaholic".
and I also have miss-used spendthrift (though I have rarely if ever used it) forever. I thought it meant to be thrifty (save money), but according to Webster �s:
spendthrift: a person who spends improvidently or wastefully
also:
shopaholic: one who is extremely or excessively fond of shopping |
