hi! We are revising dates, numbers and prepositions in 1� ESO

When we have the sentence: �he was born the second of April, 2007`do we say two thousand and seven or with the preposition IN 2007. or both ways?

Well, in British English, it �s �He was born on the second of April, 2007. � Or if no month is specified, �He was born in 2007. �
