Hello dear colleagues,
I �ll start teaching a new class next week and i don �t know their level of English yet!and I �m asked to prepare a general test to test their levels
I DON4T KNOW HOW TO DESIGN A TEST OF LEVEL!!
any ideas please?

Google for "placement test english". You can do online tests (if you have access to the computer lab) or you can print a pdf file. I give my students placement tests based on the student �s book series I intend to use. I used opportunities placement tests.
