							| Reading numbers in English American and British native speakers help needed
 |
							| Hello
I am not sure if I read certain numbers correct.
How would you read the following room numbers in a hotel :
 100, 208 , 67, 1899
and what about the house numbers ?
and PIN and National Insurance number especially with zero. Is it read zero or oh and is each digit read seperately. Thank you for your help.
Take care | 8 Dec 2013

							| For room numbers:one hundred two oh eight sixty-seven eighteen ninety-nine   For PIN and similar numbers, read each digit separately, using either "oh" or "zero" when you read 0. For example, the PIN  8920 is read eight-nine-two-oh or eight-nine-two-zero. Both ways are very common.   Bruce | 9 Dec 2013
