I �d be grateful if anyone could suggest how to put the following question into the passive voice?
Who told you such nonsense?

In speech, a person would probably say, �Who were you told such nonsense by? �

Hi dear mates,
As far as the first (i.e. formal) option is concerned, I would convert this interrogative sentence into the passive voice as follows: By whom was such nonsense told you?
As for speech, I think I would rather say: Who was such nonsense told you by?

To add my too cents worth, this is my take on it and most natural sounding to a native speaker:
Whom were you told such nonsense by?

@Sharwong - I think if you are going to use �whom �, you wouldn �t be putting a preposition at the end of a sentence.  marta - go with my suggestion.

By whom were you told such nonsense ? is also correct but too formal
