							| How do you read the year? I mean, if it is 1989 i read nineteen and eitghy nine, but if it is 2014, can I say two thousand and fourteen? What do you thinK? Thanks Michela

 2,014 - two thousand and fourteen 20:14 - twenty fourteen (Am Eng) = fourteen past eight p.m. = fourteen past eight in the afternoon 
 1989 - nineteen eighty nine (you may omit "and") 1,989 - one thousand nine hundred AND eighty nine 19:39 - nineteen thirty-nine  = twenty-one to eight p.m. = twenty one to eight in the afternoon
