							| Hi Everyone!
I need some help with placing the adverb of manner in the sentences below.
She sat lazily by the pool all day.
 or
She sat by the pool lazily all day.
 or sg else? :-)
Thank you in advance! | 7 May 2014

							| Definitely the first. You can also say, "She lazily sat by the pool all day", which is actually saying that she was being lazy, rather than describing the manner of the activity (I guess it s more of an inactivity ).   Bruce | 7 May 2014

							| Ha-ha, Bruce:) seriously "by the poo"? That s the least likely place any "she" would want to spend her day:) | 7 May 2014

							| Thanks, Sophia. I obviously hadn t noticed that. I have corrected it now. She must be outrageously lazy if she won t even get up to move herself away from the poo! Bruce | 7 May 2014
