A friend of mine has asked me this morning to rephrase the following sentence that she has come across in a workbook:
Algi �s mum has asked him not to vote Algi �s, ...
To me, it looks like something is missing. I �m hopeless. Any help, please?

Definitely! There must be a punctuation mistake. Without the comma, it all makes sense to me.
