Hi there!
Today I had a friend tell me she had helped foster an elephant. I thought it was a great idea, looked at the site and saw it was not a huge amount ($50/year) and decided to adopt one myself! My foster elephant is Ololoo! 
It occurred to me afterwards that this was a great class idea! You get to pick the elephant that you want to foster. Then you get a printable certificate of adoption, a map of Kenya where your animal came from, monthly updates about him/her, you also get info on the project itself.
I think it�s a great idea - and one that helps out endangered animals... there are even rhinos on the list!
