							| romance/romantic movies?
 |
							| Hi, Movie questions again. The expressions below are used on the net. Could you let me know both are OK or which is more common?   1. a romance/  romantic movie 2. a history/  historical move  3. a twist/ twisted ending    Thanks always  | 26 Nov 2014

							| I would say ... 1) A romance (without the word "movie") or a romantic movie. 2) A historical movie 3) A twist ending, or an ending with a twist. "Twisted" means creepy, unpleasant, the work of a madman (e.g. "He has a really twisted sense of humour").  | 26 Nov 2014

							|  I agree.   There s a twist at the end is also used If a movie has a twist at the end it means something unexpected happens.     | 26 Nov 2014

							| Thanks FrauSue and Apodo! Now I have a crystal clear idea of a twist ending.  About # 1,2 I still have a question because so many sites are using romance movies/history movies. There May be regional differences,... I guess.    | 26 Nov 2014
