							| BE is lid, not cap.  But nowadays, most everyday pens are retractable (click or twist) and don�t have lids.    Correct: Take the lid off the pen / put the lid (back) on the pen   However, both lid and cap are used for whiteboard markers and coloured markers in Australia.   Cheers   Jayho   |  5 Feb 2015
