							| Hi, can anyone fill in the blank with an animal idiom please? When asked about his past, Jordan has a tendency to __________ up. Thanks a lot in advance. | 4 Jun 2015

							| act   to act up means to misbehave, or behave badly. | 4 Jun 2015

							| @melissab since the task is to complete it with an animal idom, I guess Bruce (yanogator) is right, and "to clam up" seems to be solution. To clam up means to close, to not talk about it (easily).  | 4 Jun 2015

							| Yep, as usual, Bruce s right. The word up restricts us in our choices. Otherwise you could have sad: "When asked about his past, Jordan has a tendency to grin like a Cheshire cat"  or "... to monkey around" amongst many others.     | 4 Jun 2015
