							| thanks Goodnesses. Im looking for somethig more elementary.   The thing is that when I find books for my students English level ( which is very basic), the events and characters are too childish. My students are 12 to 14, but their English level  suits Primary. And when I find something I like, it doesnt have comprehension activities online ( which is required for the project) .We could do them ourselves using hot potatoes and stuff but we havent much time for that now. Anyway, if you find something matching my needs, do tell me, please.    Weve been working with raz.kids reading and  AZ reading, but I would like to find something else. Anyway, I found great reading sites. They have no comprehension exercises but they are wonderful .If anyones interested: starfall.com ; fablevision. com( with a beautiful tale called North Star ) ; learning planet.com ( you can have a trial suscription for 10 days, necessary to play an interactive reading game called Time Crime)) ; enlightenme.com  ( with a fantastic reading game called Peetnik mysteries). I found all these in eduscapes.com which has very ineresting links ( have a look at tap teachers).   Im so glad the forum is back!!!! thanks Vctor!!!! | 15 Sep 2008

							| If you want a SERIOUSLY good FREE online textbook in a fashion similar to this website but with 26 units (in the book Im talking about, thats not including other books/samples on the website as well) and 8 to 10 pages per unit, then you should have a peruse through- http://www.finchpark.com/books/index.htm

(Click on the "tell me more" link. The title of the book is called, "Tell Me More"

 also check "Now youre talking")

Its a pretty amazing resource. One of the best, Ive spent countless hours sifting through websites, this one impressed me.

							| Ok, Why dont you try to design your own online exercises (reading comprehension or any kind) by yourself.
Dont you know Victor made it possible since a moment. Just look at the top of ESLprintables home page.

I give here some links to some of my ONLINE reading comprehension exercises just to give you an idea how it could look like. I am sure you can do better when you get accustomed to the designer.

Here are some of my contributions:
 http://www.eslprintables.com/exercise.asp?id=286#thetop
 http://www.eslprintables.com/exercise.asp?id=307#thetop
 http://www.eslprintables.com/exercise.asp?id=256#thetop
 http://www.eslprintables.com/exercise.asp?id=291#thetop

You can also design Listening comprehension exercises using video and/or audio sequences.
