I teach in Beijing. Love my job, with one exception: English Corner.

Now, I ve come to learn that "English Corner" expectations vary from place to place. Thus far, my experience has been that the school expects me to present an hour-long (basically) dog-n-pony show. I can pic the topic, but it needs to be engaging and offer some kind of new vocabulary. The audience has every imaginable ability level, so trying to gauge is a nightmare.

PPTs are popular, but time consuming, as I am also the education director for my center and tasked with developing about 5 new lesson plans per week for company-wide implementation.

HELP! I m running out of ideas. Does anybody out there have the same problem? Have you come up with any go-to solutions?

Help a sister out! LOL

Thanks in advance --
