							| I understand you can use in OR at when  talking  about a place.  I can work in the hotel OR I can work at the hotel. When speaking generally about a place of work which one would you use and WHY?  I need the rule to explain to a student. Thanks in advance.

							| Use AT with a place of work, studying or rest in general  - at a restaurant, at school, at the beach/ Use IN when the object is in/inside the place ( not necessarily working there ) - in a restaurant, in the school, in the garden. | 2 Aug 2015
