Dear teachers, I am looking for a book to teach English for a student who is going to immigrate to the USA. Her English is at pre-intermediate level.Now she is studying English to communicate with native speakers when she lives there. She wants to mainly focus on listening and speaking skills. She doesn �t really need to read or write anything. A great book for teaching listening (not a workbook, this is a book for teachers) is Teaching and Learning Second Language Listening: Metacognition in Action, by Vandergrift & Goh. |
