							| What does this sentence mean?
 |
							| Hi,   Can you tell me what the first part of the sentence means:   Once visited, Tunisia is a country you ll definitely want to return to.     Thank you      | 3 Oct 2015

							| I guess it s grammatically correct, but it s poor style in that particular context.   The construction is most often seen in the saying "Once bitten, twice shy" (After you have been hurt once, you will be more careful the next time you encounter a similar situation).   I d expect to see it more often in scientific or legal texts, for example: Once inoculated, the patient will quickly build up immunity to the virus.Once arraigned, the defendant may be appointed a public defender...
It seems out of place in what might be a tourist board s or holiday firm s promotional brochure. There are probably a lot more useful things to teach before a student gets to advanced level - unless they re studying English for academic purposes or law. :-)

							| It is syntactically correct but  semantically  it s a bit awkward   In other words this means :if  you visit Tunisia even once ,you will certainly like to go there again . Regards . | 3 Oct 2015
