You receive points when you UPload your work and other users DOWNload it and you get the points the next day (mind that your next day and the site �s next day can be two different things as the site functions by a different clock) When you DOWNload something, points are actually deducted, not received. But I�m sure that as a user with 947 points, you know these things very well. 

Another reason could be a weekend glitch.
