When did you graduate. --- You are asking when an event took place. Such as -- When did you marry? When did you sleep? When did you relocate? If I say, "when were you graduated?" -- That means that something happened TO you -- Such as -- When were you nominated? When were you recognized? When were you trained? |

Hahahahaha, Tapioca!! Nice one.l.. :-P Shereen, definitely do NOT teach Tapioca �s extra meaning to your students. Just don �t! It will confuse them too much. |

Dear Shereen , the Egyptian friend ,
First when you said I need know !(It should have been ,I need to know). Also ,you should give a more polite request such as ,could anybody tell me !!! or so . Anyway , Both of them are correct�. Both give the same meaning but��the only difference is that one is active and the other one is passive while the second one refers to you only.
