							| Hi,   Although intend is considered a state verb, and some grammar books may advise against using it in continuous tenses,   something like this can still be heard (at least in some English dialects)   I am intending  to travel around the world when I retire.   Giorgi  | 24 Oct 2015

							| I ll add a little to Giorgi s answer.   I wouldn t recommend teaching continuous forms of intend, but natives do sometimes use it that way.   If I want to emphasize that my plans could change easily, I might say, "I am intending to leave early tomorrow, but that might not happen."   Bruce  | 24 Oct 2015
