							| Hello, everyone! I came across a sentence that gave me food for thought. The sentence: Wish you strong faith that makes us not to give up.  Is particle "to" suitable there? We use bare infinitive after "make", but here "to" is included in the sentence.   Thank you so much for your answers.  | 9 Nov 2015

							| Hi, manusya,   No, In the Active Voice "make" only adds a "bare infinitive",   the only correct option is    makes us not  give up.
Although, it is Ok to say
"We are made not to give up"
( because "make" stands in the Passive Voice)    Giorgi  | 9 Nov 2015

							| Hi there ,what about the whole sentence, (Wish you strong faith that makes us not to give up.),don t you think it was better to say (Wish you strong faith that doesn t make us give up easily.) What do you think! | 10 Nov 2015
