							|  @ Alex - still laughing as I write this... :-)   @ Mariane -  �c) because � is the alternative that I think most people would choose as it �s the one they would  �expect �. But  (heading down the rabbit hole ...) all three  responses are acceptable grammatically.   What does that mean? It really means that your question doesn �t seem a particularly good one for testing a student �s grammar knowledge or specifically for testing whether they understand the difference between those three conjunctions. It might separate students who don �t have active imaginations from others who do, but as a grammar question it should really be rewritten.       Tap   |  18 Dec 2015
