In any show, there is a ībill ī - a list of the artistes who will appear at that show on that night. (It might be a bit old fashioned, as these days, there is just the main performer and a supporting act). īTop of the bill ī is the main one - the first on the list. So Freddie is urging himself to go on in this song and he is saying that he will be the number one on the list of singers. 

Thanks a lot dear Cunliffe! Now I get it! My teens are eager to sing and understand the song. They love Mercury so much.
