							| Let �s go and play - in British English. 
 Edit: Alex, with his link, demonstrates eloquently that not everywhere - and particularly in songs - is the convention adhered to. In BrEnglish, that construction needs �and�. Go and play! Go and get some... Go and find... etc. I suspect this isn�t the case in standard American English.
