I can think of two options, but they mean slightly different things: � The economic crisis is being solved by the government. - trying is implied,�and the implication is the government is being effective�with their solution. � The economic�crisis is trying to be solved by the government. - the government �s solution is being applied, but to minimal or no effect at the present time. � Cheers, AB�
