Hello again guys ang girls, I have this sentence, which is out of context, that says: I can get screwed up with A LITTLE help of my friends. do you think LITTLE would be suitable as well? Thanks!! |

Hi! It depends on what you would like to say. If you just say "little" then that means that your friends don�t help you at all. If you say "a little" then that means your friends help you in the process. So, the sentence you have written is implying that your friends have helped you! Also, it is better to say "from my friends" rather than "of my friends" :)

This is why one should use songs in class. How about using the Beatles song "With a Little Help from my Friends". There are sure to be some worksheets here if you search. |
