							| Genitive case question
 |
							| Hello my friends,    I was reading an article from newsweek and there was this sentence: " a job he d held almost since the PC industry s birth and his puberty." Is it OK to use genitive case like that? What s the rule?    Thanks in advance!!   Geovane P.  | 27 Mar 2016

							| a job he ´d held almost since the PC industry ´s birth and his puberty."      Look at it this way. Let s say the man s name is John.   A job John had held almost since the beginning of the PC industry, and John s puberty.   So John has been working there since he was very young. It is exaggerated of course, it s not really since his puberty.  ;-)     | 27 Mar 2016

							| I read something on the internet today.    It says that when we talk about things related to human activity we can use genitive case. I guess that clarified a lot for me! Thanks folks!  | 28 Mar 2016
