Hi,
A pupil of mine has asked me to correct a few essays every week - just correct them. She �s preparing Trinity ISE II. The thing is I don �t know how much I should charge her. Any idea?

I had a pupil who asked me to do this. I just charged my usual home teaching hourly rate divided by the amount of time it took to mark the essay. So at 15 minutes per essay, charge 1/4 of your normal hourly rate. If you usually add petrol costs or lesson preparation costs into your hourly teaching rate, factor it out. |
