Would you please try to find the words that suit the following definitions best? I �m working on a game which works fine on a simpler level ("something you wear on your finger when you are married - RING"), but becomes increasingly difficult as words become more abstract. You are really helpful because your answers point directly to the weak spots! So here we go again. Thanks in advance!

I think your quizzes are very good - you just need to be open to more than one possible answer being correct, as English has so many synonyms.

On #8, I think "for a certain time" eliminates "dunk", "dip", "immerse" and "wet" in favor of "soak". Bruce |
