							| Hello, can you help me figure out grammatically the following sentence? i have tried to find information about it but no success. I think it is connect to (I WISH + WOULD) for criticism, but again, no reference found. 							| Hi, This one is hard to answer, because the sentence isn �t really correct.   It would be better to say, "If these idiots had just taken the bus, I could be home now". I �m guessing that the idiots in question are causing traffic problems that are delaying the speaker. So, if it is meant as the simple present for habitual activity, it does make sense.
