							| I can �t say whether or not you can use it--that �s your choice.  But if it produced the sentence above, I would be careful.   Monkey’s got panda’s eyes and pop star’s mouth. Monkeys got a panda’s eyes and a pop star’s mouth.
  Monkey’s got panda eyes and pop star mouth. Monkeys got panda eyes and pop star mouths.

							| Douglas, I think you missed something. Glutenfree is using the British "has got" and talking about monkey, panda and  as characters, rather than speaking in general. Monkey has got panda �s eyes and pop star �s mouth.   So, glutenfree, to be consistent, I would treat them all as characters and use the possessive.   Bruce  |  30 Sep 2016
