							| IELTS - writing 1
 |
							| hello everybody! As some of you might know from a message I posted this morning (thanks again to those who answered, I really appreciated that!!) I took up some students who are preparing IELTS. I ve done some preparation myself and I feel that I am not very confident with the writing part. As you know, this task is about describing flow charts, graphs, bar graphs and so on.   Any ideas for some material where i can practice on? I ve leafed through "Insight into IELS" at my local bookshop but the writing part seemed pretty scrawny so I decided against buying it. I couldn t get hold of "Focus on IELTS" by sue Oconnell, which on the contrary seemed pretty good. Any ideas (printables, online resources or even books I could use)? Thanks a lot to you all! | 6 Mar 2009

							| Have a look at Onestopenglish.com - they have an IELTS section and a few good exercises on writing.  I have a list of books at work - I ll make a note of them and send you a message over the weekend. | 6 Mar 2009

							| Send me your e-mail through the private messenger and I will send you the material that I have and use with IELTS students.   If you just Google IELTS practice tests, you will find lots of sites with different contributions.  If I recall there is an excellent introductory book which you can download from the Holmesglen Institute in Melbourne Australia.  Can t remember the website, but if you Google again you should find it.   | 6 Mar 2009
