							| Answer ´half correct ´?
 |
							| Here in Brazil when a teacher corrects a test, sometimes the answer is correct, sometimes it ´s wrong and sometimes it ´s partially correct.
Does it sound ok to say it ´s haft correct? If not, what do you suggest? | 7 Mar 2017

							| I would avoid that issue and just say I ´m giving half credit for it.   Bruce  | 7 Mar 2017

							| To say ´half correct ´ or ´half right ´ is OK, but Bruce ´s suggestion is good, since the student has got part of the answer, or half of the answer and so you will want to give half a mark.    Incidentally, if this happens in an oral exchange, I say, ´Nearly there... ´  A colleague of mine just repeats ´And...? ´ to elicit all the information. | 8 Mar 2017
